Eligibility depends on your individual plan and whether your provider determines the services are medically necessary. Families seeking reimbursement should contact their HSA/FSA administrator and tax professional before purchase. In some cases, a Letter of Medical Necessity from a licensed medical provider may be required.” The IRS limits HSA/FSA use to qualified medical expenses and generally excludes general wellness expenses.
